Skincare Essentials

9:30 AM

It's a good morning here in Michigan, sunny and bright we got that fall chill coming through, perfect for some Tim Hortons. I maaaay consider coffee part of my routine. Coffee is an essential for me especially during school days. I like to keep my skincare routine nice and simple, so my faced doesn't get overwhelmed with products (and neither does my wallet.) So here are my three essential, and affordable products. Not including a warm triple triple with a caramel shot.

Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Cleanser, 6.7 Ounce  $9.65
This product is so gentle on my skin and cleanses really well. I have skin on the drier side, especially in the morning, and this works really well for that. My skin feels so clean and refreshed after this product. You just wet your skin a bit, use the pump which I love because it keeps everything sanitary, I usually use about two pumps, work it into a lather and rinse! So quick and easy. When I'm done washing my face and brushing my teeth, I dry my face with a paper towel. Regular towels are a nightmare! I always feel as if they're putting all the germs and dirt right back on my face, so that's why I stick to paper towels. This is the time where I'd usually head out the bathroom and on to my makeup room.

CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, 8 Ounce $8.99
Coming into my makeup room you'll find the CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. It's very important to moisturize after you wash your face!!! This product is great for sensitive skin like mine and again with the pump applicator keeping everything sanitary. It is
non-comedogenic and non-irritating. This lotion has a complex formulation called MVE  which supposedly "releases ceramides and other essential ingredients throughout the day." It's meant to keep your skin hydrated and nourished all day.
Epielle 30 pre-moistened Collagen & Vitamin E Cleansing Tissues (4 pack), $10
This product may not be familiar to you but it is something I've been using every single day for years! I don't really ask for much when it comes to cleansing wipes, as long as they remove most of my makeup and not irritate my skin. These wipes meet those two conditions. After I wipe my skin removing all face makeup such as foundation eyeshadow and concealer, I'll apply either coconut or olive oil to my lashes to remove mascara. Then I'll use the wipe on my eyes and remove the oil or leftover mascara. After that I'll just wash my face and dry with a paper towel.

Well, that's it! It's as easy as 1-2-3 with my essentials. Let me know if you want me to try anything new or if you have any suggestions, I'm always happy to try new things! Questions are always welcome. Thanks for reading, I'll be back with more posts soon!
